About Me

I earned his MS degree in Geography before embarking on my career in photography. I have taught geography at the university level and lectured on photography at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. During the past 10 years, I have worked extensively as both a wedding and sports photographer.

A little more about

I really began my career in photography by photographing sports. I actually have a number odities in my resume from my past life - and among them was a short career as a professional mountain bike racer. Though my career was cut short by both injuries and a lack of top finishes, my passion for sports remains strong and I continue to compete, periodically,in long distance events (Marathon and Ironman)

     Here's one of me :)

Here's one of my shots

After several years of shooting sports I began to look at portraiture more seriously and I started shooting weddings. These days wedding and portrait photography provides my primary source of income - and although I shot my first wedding 11 years ago, every year I feel like I become just a little bit better and my passion for my art grows just a little bit more.

Where do I see myself in the future? Within the next 5 years I see myself starting transition back into the ultra competative world of sports photography... but with the ever changing environment in which professional photographers find themselves, I will confess that anything is possible.

I hope you enjoy my classes and I look forward to meeting you soon
